Hey,
My name's Kayla, I'm 24 from Manchester, England. I originally made this blog in June 2013 with the name ‘fat pants and fairytales’, vom. I didn’t even try and left it within the day, fast forward to 18 months later and here I am, trying again.
I'm kind of just at that phase where I don't really know where I am or where I'm going in life. I qualified as a nanny but whilst on the course realised that I just wanted to go and see the world. So at the young age of 18, I got a job with a travel company and did 3 seasons with them, I think back and realise how lucky I was to have the opportunities. However, aged 20, I thought I had to go and get a 'proper job' but less that 18 months later I still wasn't satisfied and applied to yet another travel company, whom I nannied for for two winter seasons, and now I'm here. I'm not at all satisfied where I am in life, I'm grateful I have a job and I do work hard yet and enjoy it but yet I still feel like something is missing.
In May 2013, I really got into what people call 'fan girling' yes I was aged 23, however this was something I really enjoyed. I started to read fan fictions, whilst there are some amazing ones out there, there are a lot that, well, aren't so good and I decided to have a little dabble at writing. Who would have thought it, people are amazed by my stories, people take time out of their day to send me inboxes telling me how they enjoy it and can't wait to read my updates. Currently (November 2014) I have two completed stories and one which I'm working on, I feel like I've found a little something I enjoy, so here goes.
This blog is just going to be a hobby, if I review a product it’s because I genuinely enjoy using it, this isn’t a fashion blog, it’s just a Kayla’s random thoughts.
